MID-WINTER BREAK THIS WEEKENDá
A reminder to our Grass Lake Community Schools Kindergarten through 12th grade families and to our Little Warriors Preschool families that we will have our mid-winter break this Friday, February 12, and Monday, February 15, so there will be no school on these two days. Little Warriors Daycare will be open for its regular hours on both of these days.

Girls on the Run (3rd - 5th grade)
Heart & Sole (6th - 8th grade)
Monday, February 15th is the last day to register for the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programs at the regular rate. Please visit www.girlsontherunsemi.org to register. Full or partial scholarships are available. Informational flyers can be found in the main office at each school.

GLMS Robotics Team Brings Back Awards
Grass Lake Middle School Robotics teams won two of the three awards at the Consumers Energy Robotics Fair held on Friday, February 5! Those awards were the Best Design and the Most Creative Awards!! Well done TechnoWarriors!
GLMS MathCounts Team Take First Place
Our Math Counts Team won first place in their competition at Jackson College on Friday, February 5, which qualified them for STATES and Zoe D.B. placed in the top 10 individually!!

Heart & Soleáis Girls on the Run's new program for middle school girls! Heart & Sole was developed to meet the unique needs of middle school girls. The 10áweek curriculum creates a positive, structured space for girls to learn about themselves, explore new ideas, strengthen connections and develop skills that will help them as they move through adolescence and beyond.á(See More)á
Coaches Needed for "Girls on the Run"
Girls on the Run at George Long Elementary is seeking volunteer coaches of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to help us inspire the girls in our community to become more joyful, healthy and confident!áThe ten week program for girls in grades 3rd through 8th combines training for a non-competitive 5k event with a dynamic life skills curriculum.á(see more)á
