Memorial Day Weekend is Upon Us - There will be no school on Monday, May 25, as we observe Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in our country's armed forces.
The mission of Grass Lake Middle School is to promote student leadership in a safe, positive learning community by challenging students to be personally responsible, express creativity and strive for academic success

Attention 8th Grade Boys/parents:
If you plan to tryout for Junior Varsity basketball next year, there was a short meeting today during lunch. Coach Cook went over information regarding summer basketball. If you missed the meeting, email Coach Cook at joel.cook@grasslakeschools.com 
8th Grade Farewell
The eighth grade farewell celebration will be held on the evening of Friday, June 5, 6-8 PM in the GLMS cafeteria.  Students should keep in mind that this is an event to celebrate the end of their middle school years; this is not a formal occasion. (See More) 
Parents of 7th graders: GOING, GOING…….GONE? -

GLMS Students Win State Miss Majorette Titles
Grass Lake Middle School 7th grader Sabrina Beiring won the Preteen Beginner pageant; and Grass Lake Middle School 7th grader Jenna Brower won the Jr. Basic Skills division. (see more) 
Robotics Club so close to victory!!
The Robotics club, team 7360 at Grass Lake, attended the Jackson Spring event and came in 2nd place losing in the last match by just 2 points! There were a total of 13 teams at the event so they did a fantastic job of representing Grass Lake. Thank you to the students as well as the coaches for their dedication and commitment!

Jackson Area Career Discovery Summer Camps for all Middle School students Grades, 6–8
Middle School students will discover the skills of today’s top career fields through this fun and hands-on camp! Participants choose two career areas, and enjoy a week of education and career exploration! (See More)

Morgann Betterly Achieves "Excellent Rating"
Congratulations to Grass Lake Middle School 7th Grader Morgann Betterly for receiving a "1" rating, or "excellent", at her Solo & Ensemble District Choir Festival on Saturday, April 25. It was Morgann's first time singing at a solo & ensemble event and she did a great job! Well done Morgann!​
GLMS Students Earn Poetry Awards

Warrior 10/15/20k Shot Club
The Grass Lake Boys Basketball Program will be sponsoring a 10,000 shot club, a 15,000 shot club, and a 20,000 shot club for Grass Lake Boys Basketball players grades 3-12 (2015-2016 season.)
